This year marks the 3rd consecutive GIGABYTE Open Overclocking Competition and in 2010 17 European countries will participate. They include Benelux, Czech Republic, France, DACH, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Nordics, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Spain, Turkey, UK, and the Ukraine. We have already seen some extreme results from the country qualifier stage and are expecting more fantastic results in the EU regional final.

The champion of the European GO OC 2010 Regional Final will not only earn the title of Europe’s No. 1 seeded overclocker, but will also receive prizes valued well over US$ 3,000, including a round-trip ticket to Taiwan for the GO OC Global Final Competition. Competitors will use the highly respected GIGABYTE GA-X58A-UD7 motherboard, GV-R56OC-1GI VGA card (ATI chipset), Intel® Core™ i7-980X Extreme Edition processor, KINGSTON memory and Cooler Master PSU providing a reliable, high-performance platform for achieving the best possible OC results.
